Why progress sometimes appears stale on another device
AnzanPro is offline-first: practice always works against the local device, then syncs to the cloud in the background. Sync cadence depends on your subscription tier:
- Active subscription / trial: sync every 60 seconds while there are pending changes, plus on every batch of 25 events.
- Free / expired: sync every 60 minutes, plus on every app restart.
- Live competition: real-time sync regardless of tier.
So if you finish a practice on your phone and immediately open the tablet, you may see a 1–2 minute lag (active sub) or up to 60 minutes (free).
What to check before contacting support
- Are you signed in to the same account on both devices? Check Settings → Account on each device.
- Is the second device online? Sync is blocked behind a healthy network connection.
- Pull-to-refresh. On the device that's missing data, pull down on the dashboard to force a sync.
- Wait a bit longer for free-tier accounts (60-minute cadence).
If after waiting 90 minutes the second device still doesn't have the data and you're on an active subscription, reach out to support with: account email, child name, approximate time of the missing practice, and both device platforms.
